It seems funny reviewing a toner cartridge, but hey! Not a bad price for the amount of pages that one can manage. It delivers superb printing time after time. It has never let me down. Word of warning: Don't change the toner when the printer software tells you too. If you wait until the print quality is deteriorating before changing, you can get at least another 100 pages from each one. I really can't fault this product.

I ordered one of these genuine Epson cartridges and was very disappointed that the date stamp on the label was for 18 months previously. This might have been just OK had the date represented the date of manufacture, but there was something about the faded and rather old-looking sticky tape which sealed the box which made me suspicious that the date stamp actually was more likely to represent the expiry date (toner cartridges have a shelf life of about two years, I am reliably told). To make sure, I rang the Epson help-line, where I was told that the date stamps ARE Expiry dates. Amazon were very apologetic when I called to complain, and sent out another by express post the same day. Sadly, this too was out of date, so I had to return this as well, whereupon I got a full refund. Just a precautionary warning for anyone about to purchase this item for themselves.

NB - This relates to a REFURBISHED cartridge, not the original manufacturer's product.
Toner does not adhere to the page UNLESS you set the printer print for 'Thick' paper (and this is on 80g paper)... which slows down the printing no end! I certainly shall not be buying a second one. Cheap price and cheap quality. Very disappointed. Still wondering if the seller will respond to my query from 14 days ago.
