Okay......I have to admit. The R200,300 etc. Printers Epson uses these for return outstanding image quality! I love the results. However, you generally need a set of 6 different inks, which conclusively results in roughly the same price as I paid for my printer to use these on! Also, the life of these for photos is roughly the same as the starters that came with my Epson printer. I am debateing whether just to buy third-party company cartridges of them....or an entire new printer!!!!! I think Epson needs to reconsider the prices for this product and offer a 6-Colour Ink pack for a low price. I think this would encourage people to then use the Inkjet printers more often.

As a keen amateur photographer it's a no-brainer to buy a good photo printer & print up your own photos, instead of going to a high street printer & being fleeced for the cost of your prints. But no matter how much cheaper they are than even the Amazon's main store be very aware of marketplace sellers. Always pay close attention to the inkjet cartridges you purchase. When I purchased the reviewed product it turned out to be fake. This was confirmed by sending it to Epson UK.
Not that Amazon had anything to do with the product or it's sale other than trusting the marketplace seller to sell an authentic product. Always pay close attention to what you are buying.

I make a calendar every year, using my own photos and digital images, and I know from bitter experience that 'compatibles' do not do the job to the quality I want.
But quality comes at a price, and the R300 runs through the tank in no time if you are filling 12 x A4!
So the fifth star is not for Epson, its for Amazon.

Good Product
The cartridge arrived fast, in good conditions and in the original packaging. The only aspect about this product is that it has little ink, because the cartridge is very small. Read more

Quality at a price.
Good quality but at at a huge price. Epson Originals are the best but are extortionately priced.Amazon very competitive though.
