Before purchasing my Epsom Stylus SX 435W All in one I read other peoples reviews. All I can say is perhaps they can't read English. From breaking the seal on the package to commencing operations I experienced no problems. I have always used another company's product but their inks were very expensive but the quality of the work was very good, therefore I was surprised that the print quality of my new system was equal to what I was used too. I use my Epsom SX 435W for printing letters, scanning and printing documents and processing photography. So far I have not been able to fault this machine.

Not quite sure why it gains such a negative response. I unpacked my machine and simply followed the instructions. It worked just fine. My only difficulty was getting my Samsung tab to print to it - but then I realised that I needed to download an Android app. I did that and everything worked just fine.
I'm not a computer whiz, so if I can get the thing to work without difficulty it must be easy!
My only slight criticism is that printing photos takes rather a long time.

Amazon Verified Purchase
A very good printer, very quiet in use. Gives superb colour photographs. I like the seperate inks, you only replace what you have used and do not waste any.

Not quite a photo printer.
I bought this to replace a dead Canon photoprinter and it is just not up the job. Noisey, very slow (over 3mins for a 6X4 print) and the colours are not quite right. Read more

Great item,we run 2 laptops and 1 desktop computers from this printer & my daughters love being able to print work off from one room while the printer is in another via the wifi.

Nice printer, no cable
Lovely little printer but they don't supply a usb cable with it so you can't link it up to your computer which seems a bit daft - kind of wish I hadn't bothered paying for next day... Read more

Not FULLY iPad Compatable
Will only print photos from iPad, not documents or e mails for web sites. As advised by Epson, buy the SX445W.

performance
I find this printer very slow, it takesw about 30sec to do a 6X4 colour print and the catch paper draw is not big enough
