I bought this printer to replace my old Epson which had died. I didn't want anything flash, fancy or expensive being just an occasional home user. If this is all you need a printer for like myself, just for home and not business then I would definitely recommend. It is not the fastest printer in the world, quite slow infact but the print quality is very good and it is very easy to use, the scan and copy is also very easy to do, not that it really matters but it also looks good and doesn't look cheap or tacky. It doesn't have any fancy functions, just basic functions that do the job. Printer cartridges are cheap to replace if you buy the copy cartridges, a fraction of the cost of the genuine Epson ones. All in all for the dirt cheap price a very good all in one printer with a print speed not for the impatient but very importantly cheap to replace cartridges if you look on Amazon or on the internet. It more than does for me.

i ordered this item and within 4 days i had recieved it in immaculate condition and for a great price. the only downside is that the printer does not include a usb lead to connect to the computer or laptop but this does not reflect on amazon, its epson that does not give you the usb. so be sure to order a usb lead.

I was looking for a replacement for my Lexmark All-in-One and decided to go for this one. I was looking for a low-cost printer that would only be used for the occasional print job.

So far I am impressed with it, the printer admittedly feels a tad fragile in certain places but in my opinion will not break unless it is roughed up a bit (For instance the hinges for the scanner lid), if you are heavy-handed with your devices then this may not be the device for you.

The Epson software went on my Windows 7 64-bit machine easily without any issues and after unpacking the printer and connecting it up with my old USB cable it proceeded to finish installing the printer. I did a test scan and it worked right away.

I'm no professional but for my needs my photos scanned well and looked good, black and white text prints well and quite fast in the default mode. The photo printing is good and unlike the printer it replaced this one does borderless photos which makes the pictures look a lot better in my opinion.

Ink consumption seems par for the course and in line with most inkjets in this price-range, I really like the fact that all the ink tanks are separate so you just buy the colour you need when it runs out. The inks are reasonably priced, I see packs with all four inks around for around the £20 mark.

The printer comes with the 4 different inks, Quickstart guide and a CD with drivers. You can install the Epson software which includes software to improve photo printing or to order prints online or if you don't wish for this the drivers alone can be installed without the extras.

This is my first Epson printer and I am pleased to say that if I ever need another printer I would definitely consider another Epson model as this one has exceeded my expectations for the price.

It is an average printer and good value for money. It does print rather slowly though which is its main flaw. Good scanner, cheap cartridges (from amazon) and looks quite nice too.

I bought this as a cheap back up to my more expensive printer. The price seemed to good to be true, IT IS!! First of all dont think of using it for anything except text, the photo quality is terrible. The paper feeder only feeds paper when it feels like it (not very often). It uses an incredible amount of ink and dont think about using cheaper ink cartridges, you'll end up chucking them away as the printer will randomly say there empty when they are full! I always use Epson and you'll find out the more you pay the better quality. I think they must have had surplus plastic and decided to chuck this garbage out. My reccomendation is buy a pen and write, it'll save you around £30! AVOID!!!!!

This printer was under £25 and is really easy to use, not the quickest at printing but who cares for this sort of price, the scanning side is really impressive much better than my old printer that cost 4 times as much.

If you do not intend to print much, are not heavy handed, don't have children and are prepared to shop around for the cartridges which will only last approx sixty copies, a lot less if you want to print out pictures, then this machine is the one for you. The lid for the scanner is extremely flimsy, and so is the paper trays so be very careful with them, and keep well away from children it won't last five minutes under the hands of a child. Rule of thumb:- the cheaper the printer, the more you spend on inks. Next time I'll save my pennies a little longer and go for more expensive machine
