When I was reviewing Windows 7, I noticed that it included touch screen software and, being a gadget freak and that my existing monitor had started to die (Belina 17" flat screen with 8 years service for around £700 very good value at the time), I decided to buy this monitor. Bit expensive but, 'leading edge', or so I thought. After I had loaded W7 and this monitor, a bit of experimentation showed that the W7 touch screen software was designed for the micro computers and not for this. None of the W7 commands work with the monitor. It is possible that the software I loaded with this, over-wrote the W7 commands. The net result is that I can do everything with my fingers that I can with the left mouse button but nothing else. I don't know what I was expecting but I am a little disappointed. Perhaps the monitor is designed for use in cafes or other retail establishments where it would come into its own but at home it is just a novelty to use instead of the left mouse button. So ask yourself, 'Are you sure you really need a touch screen?'. Another negative, You can't play Blu-Ray DVD's through the digital connection as it is not HDCP compliant (whatever that means).
