This machine has quite literally allowed me to reclaim my home having being converted room by room into a giant office. I now copy all my documents into folders and back up to two disks as a RAID array. I spent a long time researching the options and I think the Epson scores over the Fujitsu rival. It is incredibly fast to PDF in colour and importantly scans both sides at once and gets through 25 sheets in less than a minute just as it claims. It works faultlessly on my iMac and MacBook pro. I don't use the free Presto software as for some reason it won't load on the iMAc but will on the Macbook Pro but the enclosed Epson Scanner software is all you need anyway. I have not tried all the additional facilities but there are many. I have had no paper jams so far but so you would expect this a commercial machine and is priced accordingly. Nevertheless it has a tiny footprint (less than an A4 sheet of paper) and easily sits by iMac. Definitely my best gadget ever.

Outstanding scanner very quick simple to use and not fussy about what goes in, faultless, as per previous comment although software loaded fine (Win 7) it is not required Epsom software pretty much covers it all A++++. Far better than Fujitsu which we have in another dept
