A great collection,

This review is from: Epitaphs (Discovering) (Paperback)
Who says death cannot be amusing? The book contains a large assortment of, often funny, sometimes irreverent, epitaphs from tombs. Some are well-known but many are less familiar. As editor of a church magazine, I have found it an invaluable source of space-fillers. The book gave me great enjoyment.

Good Way To Waste An Afternoon I Suppose,
By Kelly Tipton "KellyBeth" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Epitaphs (Discovering) (Paperback)
This book is an ok read, don't get me wrong.
But Its super small! The book itself is very tiny and the text is headache inducing. Its got a lot of pictures, and its a decent book on the matter. Its a very fast read, only took me about 2 hours. If you're a beginner and just dipping your toes into the wading pool of tombstones, Then this book should be just fine for you. If you're like me and you have a bookshelf of the stuff, Keep walking. If youre wanting a really good book on the matter, I would suggest Stories In Stone. |
