Format:Audio CD
One of the original masters of Funk, her talent is painfully underated. Rather than get worked up about quasi-singers like Britney, Kylie and the rest...how about listening to a master craftswoman at the top of her ability. Achingly soulful, shockingly funky, wonderfully elegant and my god, the lungs! She can belt right up there with Aretha, aint no joke!
Everywhere is a phenomenal song, Aint Nobody is a modern club legend and well...Im Every Woman, it truly is, all in her!

Chaka is a diva with a voice - the music that can be played year after year. A classy singer who puts meaning to soul music

I thought I was a bit of a fan. Only three strong contenders on this album and the usual Chaka suspects: 3 tracks. THere's no epiphany about the rest of the content, which all sounds very dated now in the way 70's and early 80's stuff can, but doesn't if the original arrangements were great,
Buy if you haven't got her charts singles from elsewhere in this knowledge at the right price and you'll know what you are buying
