I have been a fan of Candlemass for quite a few years now, though the majority of my knowledge is gleaned from my Brother's extensive collection. However, when out collections were separated due to my moving away, I found myself torn from the Epic doom which shaped my mid-to-late teenage years. This Album marks my first purchase of Candlemass in five years and was to be used as a primary referencing point for one of my university projects; however, I find myself listening to the album constantly, perpetually in awe of the fantastic and unrivalled tone of the Godfathers of Doom in their first Gospel. To any Candlemass fans, or any advocates of Doom not familiar with them, I cannot recommend this album more highly. Even if you already own the original recording, this special edition is one of the finest additions to a well rounded Metal collection than any connoisseur could wish for. Buy it now.
