I have quite bristly facial hair, upper lip and chin. I had been using occasional waxing, which did cause me to have more hair that grew back bristly. Tweezering sometimes caused hairs to snap off giving blunt edges, also it was just so hard to get the light right to find them, I have fair hair. I was thinking about the new 'light' treatment but it won't work on my hair as it needs to be dark.
So I was very glad to find Epicare and it just took it all my hair away, just grabs them, I won't kid you, it is painful, but there is no swelling or leaving skin reddish, you can do it before going out. Next day no irritation either. I can't comment on regrowth yet.
I probably wouldn't recommend it for people who have just a few wayward bristly hairs, as it will take ALL the soft natural downy hairs, which would risk growing back stronger and stronger. Get the individual hairs zapped. In my case, I was past this stage(foolishly, probably) I just wanted to get rid of lots of strong hairs, and fingers crossed that they don't all grow back much stronger.
