This series is really the second half of series 7, no justification for it being split over 2 dvd's, but, there, you go, the consumer gets it in the neck....again!
All loose ends tidied up as the show reaches its grand finale. It really does look more and more like Sex and the City for guys in this last series and the 'soap' element gets out of control. Thoroughly stupid plotting, the cheesiest of endings. And yet, somehow, it just about remains enjoyable. Some of the minor characters: Dana, Scotty, Johnny Galecki and Andrew 'Dice' Clay keep it ticking along. (I'll pretend the English Vanity Fair journalist didn't exist.)
Probably only a three star series, in truth, but what the hey ,I'm giving it 4 stars out of 'male solidarity', which is what I'm told the show was all about! Maybe, maybe not, but it was fun and I miss it already.
