Good news Vinnie Chase and his boys E, Drama, Turtle and Ari are back. One of the best shows on TV sadly not well known in the UK. Season 4 starts off with Vinn making his long awaited Medellin with E producing and Walsh directing. Hoping this movie will cement Vincents super stardom and finally put some money back in his account! Thankfully everything you love about entourage is back - great cameos including Anna Faris, Stephen Gagan, Snoop-Dog, Dennis Hooper and Kanye West to name but a few. Thankfully fan favourites Ari and Drama are as funny as ever with Billy Walsh given a bigger part and the music is fantastic as ever. If you like the previous seasons you will like this and If you have never seen entourage go get season 1. Sadly the only drawbacks are the fact that their are only 12 episodes each lasting around 24 mins (3 of which are taken up by opening and ending credits!!! With season 5 coming out in September you need to get up to date

having come to Entourage late, i absolutely devoured seasons 1-3, amazed at the fantastic dialogue, the wit and intelligence, the over-the-top yet believeable characters, such as Ari and Billy Walsh. Couldn't wait to watch season 4.
Oh dear. I don't know what happened, if they changed the director, the writer, whatever they did, season 4 was awful. compared to the average tv show maybe it was 'ok' but compared to seasons 1-3 it was terrible. Situations that didn't make sense or seem plausible. We've grown to feel we know these characters, yet in this series, the characters were acting 'out of character'. New characters would be introduced only to disappear and never be seen again. Entire episodes came and went that were just plain boring. Celebrities making appearances that were pointless (Mary J Blige anyone, what was the point of that? just to kiss her ass?). It reminded me of Ugly Betty, and i don't like ugly betty. the comedy went from witty to slapstick. and bad slapstick at that. Johnny Drama, a classic comedy character, is turned into a parody. like Joey from Friends - started out funny, ended up a dumb comedy item.
put it like this, seasons 1-3 are dripping with all-time classic quotes; season 4, i'd be hard pushed to think of even one. i don't think i even laughed once the entire series. I just hope season 5 is better; i'm thinking it must be, cos if it was like season 4 i don't think the show would still be going.

Another great season of Entourage on DVD. Make sure you have the complete collection before buying this one. This time around we finally get to see some on-set action. The first episode is a fake-umentary, following the boys on the set of Medellin. The film looks great, but what will the final outcome look like and what will Billy Walsh (Rhys Coiro) leave on the floor of the cutting room? This season basically follows their struggle to get Medellin into cinemas. Some classic episodes see the boys kick back and relax, i.e. "Day F***ers" (episode 7) and "The Young and the Stoned" (episode 9). Harvey Weingard shows up twice and he is still pissed off after what happened at Sundance (season 2 episode 7), and Yair Marx also puts in an appearance. This season does not disappoint and, just like the three before, you won't be able to stop watching. Season 5 should be coming out on DVD soon, and season 6 will be on HBO in the summer of '09.

entourage season 4
In the whole 8 seasons of Entourage, this ranks higher than 6, 7 and 8. Doesn't match the rest unfortunately. Still very enjoyable though
