Great gift for first time mum 6 Mar 2010

My sister bought this as a gift for me when my little girl was born. It's a lovely book, very well presented with lovely pictures and bullet points if you don't have time to read it properly (and as a new mum I don't always!). I like reading the markers for my baby's development, which are informative and there are lots of ideas to help you stimulate baby's development. There are budget options if money's tight and good links to websites. I think it's great that the book covers development for such a wide age range. It's lovely to flick through, and is the perfect gift for a first time mum particularly, and I've since bought it for others.
