Format:Paperback
"English Pottery and Porcelain Marks" is a dealers guide to the commoner marks found on British pottery and porcelain from 1750 to 1900. It is intended as a pocket sized guide and therefore has some limitations on the scope of its coverage and detail. It is a must as a starting point for the identification of pottery and porcelain items in the home, or at antique fairs. This small reference book is well laid out and gives clear pictorial and text illustrations of all the common marks.

It gave me a start to information I wanted as a beginner. Condition of book itself not brilliant, being used rather than new, but
it's legible.

Anybody that collects, buys or sells antiques needs this book for quick reference at fairs or sales as it fits into the pocket yet is comprehensive. I was lucky that Greener Books in London had this in stock and delivered before the promised date.
