Format:Audio CD

As a retired bass of a local madrigal group,I thoroughly enjoyed the singing of this excellent group,directed by Philip Ledger. The cd includes many famous madrigals,such as "The Silver Swan","What is our life","Come away,sweet love",and "Now is the month of maying".Several of the 11 singers are soloists in their own right,yet the blend and balance are first class.Well worth listening.
