This is an excellent example of how academic textbooks should be. The text is engaging, the format is inviting, and the content is neither to explicit nor too superficial.
The authors split the book up to address each topic in the English legal system as individual entities. At the same time, all cross refereces are clearly indicated and explained meaning that as you read through the book the overall pictures is also being built up.
As a future Law student I found the book particualarly useful, becasue even having no current knowledge of the legal system, I was fully able to understand all the concept from the way they were explained.
An excellent book, that should be included in the library of anyone who has even a passing interest in the legal system, and especially of those studying Law at 6th Form.
