He has worked on the worldwide best-seller James Herriot's Yorkshire, on seven books centred around the legendary author, Alfred Wainwright, and most recently on England's Heritage. I really think this book shows best country pubs and inns (as title says) but I expected more information about each one, at least the address, even if I know it is not an advertisings book.

Nice present for those who love travelling, beer and rural environment.
Will be of great help for a guest of the contry (like myself) who likes to drive along English country roads and stay for a pint and a bowl of soup in some picturesque pub or inn.
Each chapter is supplied with a piece of text with historical origins and overview of the specific pub type, and that completely satisfies my needs in comments for such book.
