5 of 6 people found the following review helpful By Mr Chris Rowland on 13 Mar. 2002
This was a highly competitive series between 2 well matched teams. When England everyone expected them to be trounced. Thanks to some brilliant individual performances from Atehrton, Thorpe and White, England hung on before stealing the series on the last day of the third test.
The video doesn't really capture the excitment of the series. This is due to a strange choice of action. As soon as 5 wickets go down they finish the innings and go onto the next one. Would it realy have hurt them to show some more action. They devote the most time to the decisive day in the third test. The run chase is not as exciting when you know the result, and a lot of the action involves quickly taken singles, so you can't exactly marvel at the quality of the batting. This came early in the series from the likes of White, Razzaq and Yohana, but they managed to only show a few shots from their innings. England don't win many series, so it may be worth buying to remind us of happier times. It will be important next winter when we play Australia.
