Format: Hardcover
This book is also available under the title "England Football, Facts & Trivia". Same text, author, publisher, format, introduction, and foreword by Gary Lineker. I obtained it for £2 at a cut-price retailer. The same remarks apply to this as to a companion book "The England Cricket Miscellany" (which is also duplicated under the "Facts & Trivia" title). Does this publisher make a habit of duplication? Once again Caveat Emptor applies. Buyers should beware they may be purchasing a book they already have. Strange that the cover blurb says that the book is not "a compilation of trivia" when the title is "facts & trivia"!

Format: Hardcover
Published to take advantage of 2006's world cup, a collection of statistics, facts and anecdotes about England's football team over the 120+ years of its existence. Obviously better on the most recent stuff, it also includes items from the earliest days while virtually ignoring the 1920s and 1930s for some reason, apart from the Battle of Highbury. Slipshod typographical errors.

Format: Hardcover
For a painstakingly researched book it is a pity there are so many errors and inconsistencies.
