About the Author
Joseph Gallivan is the author of a previous novel about football called Oi, Ref! (ISBN 0340708611). He was born in Birmingham, England, in 1964 and educated at Oxford University. He was a rock critic for the Independent newspaper for five years, and in 1994 he fell in love with a girl named Spring Rain and moved to Oregon to be with her, and then to Hawaii and eventually New York. He now divides his time between New York and London.
