It has examples, that is it. there is no information of teaching about the philosophy of ansys. JUST APDL EXAMPLES. it comes in handy every now and then but i was looking for something more.

I like it. It combines both theories and practice. Have not yet read everything through, I will be useful for me more like a hand book

This book is the best I've read for understanding ANSYS Classic with hands-on examples. It starts with an introduction to FEM and then moves to practical examples. For sure you should get a paper copy for it!
