Product Features

3 Eveready bulbs. Halogen energy saving R50 with SES Small edison screw (E14) fitting as per picture. Only 28 watts power usage but they give out 40 watts equivalent light. 240v power usage. Also suitable for security lights.
30% less energy than a standard bulb. Fully dimmable.
Length including metal screw fitting is 85mm tip to tip. Width is 49.5mm at widest point of lens. As these are Halogen energy savers rather than CFL they come on at full brightness instantly so are also perfect for security lights.
Two year lifespan in normal use. 240v standard UK mains power..
Fully CE safety approved and made by a quality brand they directly replace a 40w R50 bulb with no compromises, they are longer lasting than a normal bulb and better for the environment. These bulbs save you money on electricity bills by using 30% less energy for the same light output. Can be used outside if used with a suitable waterproof light fitting designed for outside use.

I use these spotlights in light fittings with a number of bulbs. The energy saving (fluorescent or LED) bulbs tend to take a long time to give off full brightness, perhaps 2 or 3 minutes. So it is useful to substitute at least one of the bulbs for one of these which provides a lot of light instantly, even if it does use a little more power
