6 pack of these brand new Eveready bulbs. Halogen energy saving R80 with ES Edison screw (E27) fitting as per picture. Only 42 watts power usage but they give out 60 watts equivalent light. 240v power usage. Suitable for security lights.
They use 30% less energy than a standard bulb. Fully dimmable.
Length including metal screw fitting is 110mm tip to tip. Width is 79mm at widest point of lens. As these are Halogen energy savers rather than CFL they come on at full brightness instantly so are perfect for security lights.
Two year lifespan in normal use. 240v power consumption.
Fully CE safety approved and made by a quality brand they directly replace a 60w R80 bulb with no compromises, they are longer lasting than a normal bulb and better for the environment. These bulbs save you money on electricity bills by using 30% less energy for the same light output. Can be used outside if used with a suitable waterproof light fitting designed for outside use.

Product quality appears to be superior to other manufacturer's products purchased from DIY stores, will have to wait review the lifespan. Can not praise the seller to highly, low price, good packaging, super fast delivery. So pleased I have ordered more.

These lamps are far better than the usual incandescent lamps for light output, heat dissipation and and give a better light output and colour rendering

Energy saving bulbs

It really dosen't take twenty words to recommend this product the bulbs are an excellent fit and are still in use. They use 30% less power ( 42w = 60w ) enough said.

Very Short Life! Not As Claimed

These bulbs give a nice light but have all gone already after probably less than a quarter of the 2000 hours life claimed on the packet. Read more

Eveready Halogen R80 light buld ES (E27)

It does what it says on the can.
Once fitted, throw the switch, and light appears.
What more can one says about a lamp ?

They work but not for long

They are good when they work, but while the description claims a lifetime of 2 years in normal use this was not realistic for us. Read more
