Good Points - Fast Delivery - Lights as area up to about 600 sq feet reasonably approx same light as a 50watt halogen.
Bad Points - 1. Soft screw heads holding lid of electrical connection box, when trying to unscrew knurled over, had to drill one out to release lid, replaced them all. 2. Installation instructions state should only be used horizontally or pointing upwards, (mounting bracket only allows this), otherwise will overheat the electronics. All lights of this type I install usually point downwards floodlighting an area. 3. Pir Sensor even on full sensitivity only detects person up to about 15 feet away.

I know I should have not expected much from an LED flood light given the current standard of LED's but do not buy this if you think it will illuminate much at all, let alone flood anything with light. One small pool of light is all it does, I will soon take it down and replace with a "proper" flood light

On purchasing the low wattage LED 'flood light' we were impresssed with the size and quality of our purchase, just not the power!
I understand the output is only that of 3watts of power and is more energy efficient but just not good enough.
If covering a large area then not for you. Go with a more powerful method!

This LED floodlight is not really a floodlight. It provides a basic light which at a distance of 3m and 45 degree down-angle covers an area of about 2 sq m with just enough light to ensure you don't trip up (about the same as a 15W candle lamp).
Also, on two of the three lights the internal cables fed into the connection chocolate block were loose - so much so that in one case the neutral to the LEDs had completely fallen out and was floating loose under the chocolate block.
On a positive note, the PIR sensor is excellent with adjustment for ambient light, time and sensitivity.
If you plan to use these lights as a replacement for a 100W halogen floodlight I suggest you look elsewhere. As a replacement for a 60w tungsten light it might just suffice.

This item was delivered very promptly. The sensor works however the the light given out has quite a narrow beam, rather like a strong torch. It is ok as a security light but not really suitable for floodlighting for a patio party. The power consumption is so small it costs practically nothing to run and given the longevity of leds there should be no need to get out the ladders to change the bulb every month as you have to with halogen bulbs.

it was very easy to fit and to set up it gives good amount of light especially as it uses so little electricity would definitely buy it again and recommend it.I used this inside quite a big porch it comes on when you open the outside door. And when you think it only uses 3wI could have put up 50 of them to use the same amount of electricity 150w. It replaced.

Fair to say its not "that bright" but adequate for lighting my yard! Worked Fine For 9 or 10 months until we has some really heavy driving rain, so far it still comes on LED's all work, but the timer has failed so it only stays on for a second or Two basically as long as your in range of the sensor! Think I'll Bypass its sensor and use a separate PIR sensor instated trouble is they all seem to be IP44 'Splash Proof' what good is that out side!!!! (IP55 is more like it)
