These batteries are, by some distance, the best non-rechargables I have used in a digital camera. The previous set lasted for well over 500 shots on a FinePix A80, including several months sat idle between uses. If you intend to use heavy-drain devices (digital camera, personal audio player, Xbox controller etc) on a frequent basis, you will probably get better value from a good set (at least 2500mAh) rechargeable batteries. If you are an occasional user, but require long lasting batteries when you do use your device, you can't go wrong with these, especially given some of the absolute bargain prices found on Amazon Marketplace.

I've tried all sorts of batteries for my digital camera except the new "hybrid" rechargeable ones. Up 'til now I've had the best results with rechargeable NiMH batteries but they were susceptible to losing some of their charge quite quickly when not in use. The result is that it can be necessary to recharge them after only a few weeks even though not many pictures have been taken. This is absolutely not the case with Energizer Lithium! Obviously they cannot be recharged but they have a shelf life of over 10 years (yes, really) so they could last that long in the camera if not used very much. Also they can take many more pictures than the highest number with the best NiMH rechargeables. Finally, they work reliably, even for video, right to the last gasp, meaning that there's very little warning of their final failure. By shopping around they can be bought for less than £1 per battery (usually in sets of 4 or 6) which means it is certainly possible to carry a spare set for the eventual replacement. So, for digital cameras at least, I've now converted from the more obvious rechargeable types to these. But a final word of warning... currently these batteries are sold ss Energizer Ultimate Lithium, but there is also a standard Energizer Ultimate which is NOT the same thing at all.

I've always loved these batteries since they day I purchased a pack that were on offer in Asda. It's true where it says take upto 650 pictures.

My Canon camera takes two AAs, and I got over 700 photos on my trip to Canada. Bearing in mind that most of my shots were outside, so the batteries did not have to power the flash.

I took a pack of four with me and used two in the camera each time. The long and short of it is I only used four Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries for the duration of my seven week holiday!

Now tell me another battery that can beat that!

These are worth every penny and even worth the full price that shops charge.
Just make sure you get "Energizer Ultimate Lithium", not the Energizer Ultimate.

One other thing to mention is they weight lots less than normal AAs, which is nice when lugging around a camera and a GPS that take AAs

I bought these before my recent 11 day trip to Africa. I was worried that I'd only be taking 4 batteries for my normally very battery intensive Samsung camera but, in fact, I only used two in the whole 11 days! I took well over 500 pictures and some videos as well and made no real effort to be careful with power consumption and they just kept on lasting.

My advice, THEY'RE WORTH EVERY PENNY. With just four of these, you'll get as much juice as twice as many Duracell batteries for less money! WIN WIN.

Can't recommend them highly enough, I'll definitely buy them again for use in my camera especially but also for general use!

Excellent battery`s work for a very very long time in my digital camera, would highly recodmend. And after they stop working in my camera i put them in my sky remote and they continue to work fine.

I'm a professional photographer and I've tried every kind of battery on the market. Rechargable, NiMH, Lithium, etc and every brand. This Energizer Lithium battery lasts longer, hands down than any I've used. Where I'd be replacing batteries midway through a photo shoot, these last all the way through the shoot into another. Love them!

We are using these for equipment that is either installed an awkward places, used in low temperatures and In our digital cameras - so changing batteries needed to be less frequent.

I test these on opening each order with a fluke-meter- they are reading 1.8v DC (No Load) on each batch when new - so this may be the secret!(Verses 1.6V DC No Load on good brand Alkalines)

Anyway, in our Owl Electricity Monitors -these have lasted 1 year for us (2 receivers and 2 transmitters for Economy 7 Monitoring)

In medical devices such as domestic electronic blood pressure monitors - these really last much longer and drain much slower - about 2 to 3 times longer in an Omron. The Inflation of cuff is demanding of current for a brief period - these do cope very well.

In a Weather Station that monitors wind speed and outdoor temperature these do not fail me at 0c like every other alkaline i have tried to date.

In our Digital Cameras we are getting at least a 4 x extension in life over the most expensive Alkaline, 3 x over Nickel Oxy Hydroxide (PowerPix etc)

If you want to absolutely depend on a battery for some time - I cannot say i know of any better single use AA'S or even the aaa version is remakable in this line.
