These batteries are, by some distance, the best non-rechargables I have used in a digital camera. The previous set lasted for well over 500 shots on a FinePix A80, including several months sat idle between uses. If you intend to use heavy-drain devices (digital camera, personal audio player, Xbox controller etc) on a frequent basis, you will probably get better value from a good set (at least 2500mAh) rechargeable batteries. If you are an occasional user, but require long lasting batteries when you do use your device, you can't go wrong with these, especially given some of the absolute bargain prices found on Amazon Marketplace.

Simply put, these last forever. They're excellent. Mainly used in our Canon Powershot, it takes hundreds of photos without a second thought, hours of video and you sometimes forget you're using batteries as its so long since the last check.

I've tried all sorts of batteries for my digital camera except the new "hybrid" rechargeable ones. Up 'til now I've had the best results with rechargeable NiMH batteries but they were susceptible to losing some of their charge quite quickly when not in use. The result is that it can be necessary to recharge them after only a few weeks even though not many pictures have been taken. This is absolutely not the case with Energizer Lithium! Obviously they cannot be recharged but they have a shelf life of over 10 years (yes, really) so they could last that long in the camera if not used very much. Also they can take many more pictures than the highest number with the best NiMH rechargeables. Finally, they work reliably, even for video, right to the last gasp, meaning that there's very little warning of their final failure. By shopping around they can be bought for less than £1 per battery (usually in sets of 4 or 6) which means it is certainly possible to carry a spare set for the eventual replacement. So, for digital cameras at least, I've now converted from the more obvious rechargeable types to these. But a final word of warning... currently these batteries are sold ss Energizer Ultimate Lithium, but there is also a standard Energizer Ultimate which is NOT the same thing at all.

The Best so far..
Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries. These are by far the best batteries out there for power hungry gadgets. Nothing last as long, I just wished they were a bit cheaper.

Good but rechargables are better
Yes these are very good batteries and do last longer than most batteries but they are still single use batteries and just end up at the rubbish tip if not recycled. Read more

Batteries for Camera
As it says on the description. I have had these before and they are the best for my camera. I have other and only got a 1/4 of the use of these.
