They can be recharged to full power at any time using a broad range of chargers - including our family charger, compact charger and ultra fast charger. Since the cells are rechargeable up to 1000 times, they're a good economic and environmental choice - saving you more money!. It makes them ideal in high drain devices such as portable CD players, remote controlled toys, hand-held games, palmtop computers or any time you want to replace your standard batteries in your household's battery operated devices when you use them a lot. The new model no longer comes with a car charger.

These are my first rechargeable batteries, and this does exactly what it says on the packet; well nearly. It took just over an hour to charge 4 AA batteries. Works just as well with AAA's as well, by simply flicking the connectors down to shorten the distance between them.
As an added bonus, I've not tried this, but it comes with an in-car charger so you can charge the batteries in the car.
As for the batteries - very good, and seem to have good staying power, although not quite as long lasting as equivalent non-rechargeables.
Overall, very good.

Handy piece of kit. 13 Oct 2008
I wanted decent performance batteries for my camera that I could recharge fairly quickly.
These little fellas seem to be comparable to the non-rechargeables that I have used before, which is good. But the supplied car charger is the difference for me, it just works flawlessly.
Charging time is about what is claimed on the packet, and although they get warm during charging it's not dangerously warm.

Thumbs up from me.

Another great purchase from amazon , does exactly what it says on the tin. Quick 1 hour charge for AA and AAA batteries, and the AA ones supplied held that charge much better than i thought it would and probably comparable to good alkaline batteries. Should save me some money now as i do go through a lot of batteries. Good price too.
