After reading the previous comment about the compatibility issues with the TZ10, I thought I would write a review.
I also bought this battery directly from Amazon, as it was at a reduced price with the camera.
I, however, found that it works perfectly with my camera, I put the battery in on boxing day and I haven't had to recharge it yet, still full bars on display. (18/01/11). Taken about 60 photos and 30mins+ of video footage.
I have read that you need to get a battery that ends in an "E", and this one does say a replacement of DMW-BCG10E.
It may be that problems are from other sellers?

Battery bought as spare for TZ10. Was uncertain from camera manual and reviews elsewhere whether or not you could only use Panasonic batteries, but as this was less than half the price, and came from a reputable manufacturer, decided to take a chance. Pleased to say that this works fine with no noticeable differences from original battery. Have only just purchased TZ10 from Amazon, so would imagine it has the most up to date firmware.

This battery works perfectly in my new TZ10 bought from Amazon at Christmas. It does what it says on the tin. What more can you say about a battery? +++

Beware which Panasonic Lumix camera you have!

Seems as good as the original
