4.0 out of 5 stars Useful aide to DM's, 26 Nov 2001
By A Customer
Sometimes DM's have to come up with an NPC at a moments notice. This useful addition will be of great use to hard pressed DM's in giving them immediate access to lots of NPC's. There are individuals, groups, and best of all the characters that grace the core rulebooks are detailed at differrent stages in their careers. A worthwhile addition to the D20 family.

5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the most useful book, 6 April 2006
By Tim (England, Kent) - See all my reviews
This book is amazing for the lazy as it not only tells you how to make an NPC in minutes but it also lists about 40 NPCs with ideas in how to link them in to a campaign and there tactics in a fight, of course along with any information you will need in a fight and a adenture situaation. It doesn't just keep to the normal races and classes and it also ranges from level 1 to 20 and they all come equiped with names and backgrounds.

You can easily use the shell and make the charecter your own. plus it comes with old favourites like Tordex and Redgar at 5th, 10th and 15th level.

It list possesions so that you don't have to work out why a stat is higher than it shoud be. All in all a great book
