Invaluable 23 Mar 2007
By Jen
Format:Paperback
This book gives very clear information on possible causes of endometriosis and pelvic pain arising from other conditions. It also describes available medical, surgical and complimentary treatments in a way that will empower women when attending medical appointments. The book is written with great empathy, but is not slushy or sentimental. If you only buy one book to help you understand your condition and the options you have for treatment, I cannot recomend this one highly enough.

Get THIS book! 5 Sep 2007
Format:Paperback
My consultant recommended this book when my endo was diagnosed. It helped beyond belief. It took all the worries out of my inevitable hysterectomy and was an invaluable resource.
If you want to be in control and informed about your condition, without being baffled, scared or patronised with oversentementality, then get this book.
I've since bought copies for other women with pelvic pain and they've been greatly received and well used.

Really interesting 12 July 2009
Format:Paperback
This book is easy to read and keeps it real, especially if you are just starting to find out what is wrong or you haven't got a diagnosis yet as it explains diagnosis tests etc however even for women like myself how has had years of genealogical problems it was interesting. Doesn't use jargon without explaining, may help you discuss your options throughout your treatment especially if like me you feel you haven't been able to manage or control your condition. Informative details and diagrams for women and their partners/families who are suffering with endometriosis or any pelvic pain issues. Quite an empowering book for women with suffer with this condition.
