Product Description

Product Description

This galaxy is ancient, and its first intelligent life was the civilization we call the Endless. Long before our eyes gazed upon the stars they flew between them, though all that remains of this people is what we call Dust. A substance found scattered, or in forgotten temples, it once gave powers to admirals and galactic governors. The galaxy will belong to the faction that can take control of the Dust and uncover its secrets

3.0 out of 5 stars OK but flawed 6 Nov. 2014

It's ok, graphics quite nice, tech tree well more of a tech web but I found although the AI plays quite a hard game it does make some frankly odd decisions for example at one time I was 3rd and allied with the 2nd place civ both of us at war against number 1 my ally just decides to attack me putting itself at war against numbers 1 and 3 also the AI likes to swamp systems with many small fleets meaning even though you win every battle in a war because your fleet only has 1 attack a round it cannot even after a win move on leaving you trapped in 1 system with the enemy retreating when you attack and immediately returning during there own go. It's a beatable but annoying tactic. In short It's ok but will end up on the shelf whilst I play Galactic Civ2

5.0 out of 5 stars Great turn-based space game 24 April 2014
This is a fantastic game for fans of space colonisation games. It runs well on a laptop and is turn-based which is perfect for playing on the move or when you have a family. Everything looks a bit overwhelming at first but you can get the hang of it pretty easily. Combat is initially complex as it's quite different to most other games, but success is via a card-based system combined with your ships' loadout of various weapons and armour. You can play as one of the preset races or design your own races and select various traits. All in all, a great time-waster, highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars F'in Steam 18 Aug. 2014

I've not started playing yet and I'm unhappy that Iceberg didn't state that a Steam account was needed and I'd have to log in every time I have to play.
