Endless (1986) is a compilation album by 1980's electronic new wave band Heaven 17. Once half of The Human League, Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware recruited lead vocalist Glenn Gregory and formed their own band. Endless is a greatest hits album that begins with a megamix*, which featured originally on their 1985 12" vinyl ... (And That's No Lie). This is a great album for the car; or for those new to the band it is an excellent taster before trying out their studio albums.

The Track Listing:

1/. Heaven 17 Megamix (* includes This Is Mine, Crushed by the Wheels of Industry, Height of the Fighting (He-La-Hu), Penthouse and Pavement, Temptation, I'm Your Money, and Play to Win) (7:51)
2/. We Live So Fast (6:08)
3/. Penthouse and Pavement (6:34)
4/. Let Me Go (6:47)
5/. Temptation (4:40)
6/. Who'll Stop The Rain (6:07)
7/. (We Don't Need This) Fascist Groove Thang (4:15)
8/. Let's All Make A Bomb (New Version) (5:09)
9/. Counterforce (2:59)
10/. Crushed by the Wheels of Industry (5:57)
11/. ... (And That's No Lie) (6:00)
12/. Sunset Now (5:15)

With the exception of Counterforce, you are presented with an extended megamix and various extended versions of Heaven 17's most memorable hits. You could almost call it a 12" Remix album. Well worth purchasing along with one of their Best Of albums, which feature the 7" single versions. Endless peaked at #70 on the UK album charts.

great 12 inch and special versions album first released in 1986.
Lots of linn, fairlight cmi, and live string sections etc and glen gregorys suave sophisticated and beautiful voice.

Funny story alert lol.
In a 1986 episode of knot's landing, theres a murder at lotus point lesiure resort, Abby thinks her daughtdr did it, she hauls off the victims body to a dj booth within the restaurant, (whilst all the doors are locked) opens the booth door, and Fay presto!, A Heaven 17 poster from this album, is clearly hanging on the door, as abs slings poor mr hollister into the cupboard (all bloods splash paint!...nancy kominski style) like a lead balloon!
Good album for a knots murder mystery.
