Heard this by chance on the radio and knew I had to buy it: a wonderful fusion of retro sounds and modern pop -- guitar rock and piano and -- just when you think things can't get better -- brass! A beat so catchy you won't stop moving while it plays, a frenetic, insistent joie de vivre that seems to have under it a thread of "Eat drink, for tomorrow we die". If the band on deck while the Titanic slipped under the icy ocean had known it, I bet this is the track they'd have been playing. And what better time to get and listen to it than at the end of the year?

I heard this song at a gig at barfly in March and absolutely loved it! I was thrilled to find it on Amazon and purchased it immediately - with the blend of bouncing piano and guitar you can't help but stomp your feet and groove to the music... and the unexpected transition to a section that conjures images of an old time New Orleans parlor - complete with a piano and trumpet solo - is just class and must be heard! Mohair, you have a new fan... I highly recommend this track, make sure you check it out.

Listen out for the solos by the trumpet and piano. Also loving the b side of Ella May. Definitely recommend the record and live appearances.
