If you are a technophobe then this book might just be for you - as it reads just like a Janes Defence Review with extensive weapons performance comparisons - and yes, you guessed it, the American systems are always equal or superior to anything else on the battlefield.
The story line is weak and the characters (for me) never really came to life.
Overall I would label it a typical gung ho tale that stretches credibility to the limit.

The cover was as ordered however the contents were Dale Brown's Dreamland - 'Razor's Edge'. Obviously a production problem at the printers. Got a returns label from Amazon and a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement was as per the original - obviously a stock problem. Amazon have decided to refund the purchase price now rather than replace the item until they have sorted their stock issue. Bothe defective books returned post paid by Amazon. Quickly dealt with. Well done.
