As a frequent listener to BBC Radio One on XM Radio as well as on the internet I have become accustomed to hearing great music that is not available, or available yet, in the U.S. Such is the case with "End Credits", a great song collaboration by perennial favorites Chase and Status, and oft-underappreciated artist Plan B--who has another great song on Radio One right now
The "End Credits" CD single enabled me to get the radio edit, a great remix, and a live version of the song, all a delight to enjoy. The song itself is not necessarily a happy one, but it is so powerful in its consideration of an individual's place in the world. It becomes a very personal statement or almost anthem, similar to another import CD single I purchased, up and coming N-Dubz's "Strong Again".
Is it a steep price to pay, when you can wait and hope that iTunes or Amazon has the song you want, eventually? I say no, as it gives me more than $7.99 worth of pleasure to be able to play these whenever I desire.
