This is a brilliant book for the novice bearmaker... Takes you through all the stages of beamaking with easy instructions and good clear photographs. But beware however. This is just a reprint of their 1998 The Art and Craft of Teddy Bear Making. The only difference is a new cover and title. But if you haven't already got the earlier book, I can definitely reccomend this one.

This is a beautiful book. I haven't made my own Teddy Bear before and got the book moreso because I'm a fan of Teddy Bears rather than with the idea of actually making one myself. But with the detailed pictures and instructions, I really do feel if I wanted to give it a go, this book would guide me through.

Join the teddy bear's picnic. This is a concise yet comprehensive guide to teddy bear making. The book has an inspirational gallery of gorgeous bears from bear makers. It tells all you need to know - materials, tools, design and techniques. The techniques are explained with both written instructions and good step by step photos. This book gives details on joints, features and stuffing plus clothing and miniature bears. In addition, templates are given for making bears. I loved it but then I am a bear addict. This review first appeared on yarnsandfabrics blog.
