Bought this for my 10 year old daughter who is interested in space. She loves it and is learning a lot. Pictures are good and text is clear and informative. Good level for her - not too childish but not too high-brow.

Superbly written in a clear simplistic format. It seems that when Heather Couper name is on any publication it is highly informative, clear, concise and reader friendly.

This is an updated version with information on the soon to be launched James Webb telescope. It's written in an easy way for adults and children alike to dip into whenever and where ever in the book they like. There's loads of great diagrams and pictures which say more than the short captions acompanying them. I've learnt more about Space from book than any other. It's an excellent read and something you'll keep going back to for reference.

Great info, well explained for kids and their parents. The book goes into great depth about space and our understanding of it while still being understandable for its young readers.

This book is great. It's very detailed and has many pictures to back up the words with visual learning. This is a great book for learning about astronomy, now if it was only hardcover then I would be able to let my students use it in the classroom.

I got an Email about this Space book reissue and I was intrigued. Reading about anything in space is big for me. So I went to Amazon and discovered it was being sold for a real bargain. The best book on things in Space I have ever read. You learn about
the Suns surface. Explore the Milky Way and all the planets in our Solar System. If you like to learn about Space, the Encyclopedia of Space is the best place to start.
