About the Author
Michael Newton has published 190 books in the last 30 years. He has written primarily about crime, with a specialization in serial murder. His past books include The Encyclopedia of Serial Killers, The Encyclopedia of American Law Enforcement, The Encyclopedia of Kidnappings, and The Encyclopedia of Unsolved Crimes, all for Facts On File and Checkmark Books. He lives in Nashville, IN. John L. French is a crime scene supervisor with the Baltimore Police Crime Laboratory.
