We first bought Encycopedia Britiannica in the 1960s. I loved being able to browse topics at random. The books look attracive and I feel a sense of satisfaction now that I own my own set. I would recommed them to any person who has an enquiring mind and a thirst for knowledge.

What can I say - it is the ultimate reference.
Beside looking up specific things it takes You on journeys just by opening it on a random point (which I did a lot when growing up, albeit with a much older version).

When I actually manage to settle in one place for long enough that I won't have to worry about hauling the bookshelf-load with me, I will definitely get the (then current) version of the "real" hard-back rather than a CD ...

3rd its writen by eminant experts from the world and prize winner writers
As you can probably tell from my spelling im no interlectual but a do like to better my self and this is the tool for the job.
A sinario for you. you child is doing a project on spain and goes on the net and punches in to google "spain" you get holidays, news and phases and posibly some open sourse info that is not entierly acurate. open your britannica and you get 170 tissue thin pages of juicy info.
If you like lifomation with out waffle or the need to search 30 sites and check the acuracy then buy this. Buy it anyway.
