Many books have been written about the paranormal. I have read a good number myself. This rates among the very best ever written. There are minus five sceptics who wouldn't believe in a ghost if one tapped them on the shoulder. There a plus five believers who believe in any old rubbish. I am plus one believer. If you have seen a ghost, I would give you a fairly tough time before I believed you.
If you had got a story it had better be good. There are some items in this book I am not convinced of.
But for the most part, it is very thought provoking indeed. I can't be bothered with sceptics and believers arguing till hell freezes over. I truly cannot be bothered, and niether should you be.
Enjoy this book for what it is, just enjoy it. If you are thinking of buying it, if you are in two minds, take my word for it, buy it. If in doubt, buy it. It is among the best of it's type, it deserve the word "classic".

This is one of the most fascinating books on this subject that I have ever read.

Parsons has, in the main, restricted his selection of incidents to those where there were two or more witnesses, whom he has interviewed separately and together. Many of these witnesses are professional people with observational expertise as a result of their occupations. All of them can be commended for their courage in going on record, and at least one showed truly amazing bravery in the way she dealt with the situation she faced.

If you are a determined sceptic, then nothing will convince you. But then you're probably not reading this. If you have an open mind, then there is much food for thought here.

I Couldnt Have Said It Better 4 Feb. 2014

I agree that this is a great books; I was so happy to come across this as I'd thought I'd read all books of this type by now. I appreciated the author's open-mindedness to the phenomena that may or may not have been paranormal. Both mind-boggling and entertaining at the same time.

An amazing collection of true x-files! 6 July 1998
By Nuria Obradors (nuri@ba.net) - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I loved this book. The author gives a collage of strange stories taken from the present, not the past. Some of the unexplainable facts are still happenning, and most of the people the book's about are alive. Parsons limits himself to show the facts; he does not praise nor tries to look for a logical explanation. If you are looking for real-life amazing stories, then this is the book for you.
