As always, quickly delivered and posted. A novel (is it?) that makes one wish that all these things described had been known at the time by the rest of us to give a more balanced view of life (as it can be). I found it very readable and well worth buying. It is about our existence as it really is and very satisfying.

Truly a remarkable work of fiction....,

By far the best book I've read in a long time! McMullenn delivers a candid and surprisingly accurate view of the life of rent boys at the turn of the century. The dialogue is captivating, the story exciting, the characters magical. Who couldn't love Joker's witty repose? Or Angel's unconditional love? Let us not forget the pain our characters had to endure; not only sex, but torture, hatred, and fear of living one of the most dangerous possible lives....and so young at that! I must say that this book speaks volumes to me every time I read it. Mr. McMullen, you have truly created a masterpiece, and I only hope that there will be more to follow!
