This is a book which gives a different perspective to beading. The first part of the book on techniques is well written, clear and concise. It is so different to the usual beading books and I enjoyed the beautiful illustrations and various projects with their twist of fantasy. I am thrilled to add this book to my large collection of beading books as it will provide continual inspiration for my work.

Simply Enchanting! 2 Aug 2010

I love this book on two levels:

Firstly, the book takes you through the creation process from sketchbook to project. There are wonderful practical techniques such as making your own texture mats.

Secondly, the book is beautiful. A story line runs throughout and maintains the theme of the projects. Each page is adorned with lovely watercolour washes.

The overall feel of the book is of a creative journal and I just have to keep going back to read it again. Often I buy a book about jewellery making and then hand it onto someone else - but this one is a keeper.

A really lovely book if you like vintage jewellery. So often only some of the projects are appealling. In this book every piece has elements which I could use. Great
