Simply one of the best performances of "Empty Chairs..." I've heard. Raw and full of the emotion of a survivor's guilt. It's moving enough as an mp3; try watching it in the movie without shedding a tear or two...

Eddie Redmayne doesn't have the best voice but there is a certain desperate fragility to this version that is really heart wrenching and I rate this over some of the stronger versions out there. You can really feel for him.

I have heard many versions of this song and none have moved me as much as Eddie Redmayne's. Whilst it is true his voice is not necessarily one of the strongest, it is his passion and pain that win out in this rendition.
