This book is a practical guide for engaging employees. Everything in here is actionable. No theories or long winded writing. The overall point is summed up in a quote in the book from the CEO of Campbell's Soup: "To win in the marketplace . . . you must first win in the workplace." If you don't have an engaged workforce, your business just won't grow.

Good step by step instructions for engaging employees, implementing a company survey that works, getting better at communications and retaining employees through engagement.

This book is full of strong how to advice. Because there is no fluff, you can read the book in a couple hours and have a lot of smart ideas to use in your workplace.

Employee engagement is very important to our company. A year ago we were going through some tough times and our employee engagement score was low. I went looking for ideas on how to improve our employee engagement and a few good books to read.
Came across Kevin Kruse's Book "Employee Engagement 2.0, though only 59 pages it is packed with real life information and straight forward advise. I got the book read it , had each of my 4 managers read it. We worked at applying the ideas in his book and over the past year have seen a great increase in our teams employee engagement score. and overal better communications within our team. Got to keep working at it though and keep working it every day. Definitely a worth while read

Employee Engagement 2.0 is an amazing book. Kevin Kruse managed to distill invaluable know how, from his own experience, in a book that can be read over a weekend but can have life-long implications.
The author guides the reader through practical steps on Why, How, Whom and When.
It ends up with a well-defined process of increasing employee engagement, on which the reader could very easily build in order to make it context specific and applicable for his/ her particular environment.

If you value 'Engagement' in your organisation, then this is a 'must have' book, to read and act on. I have been teaching Engagement for many years and the material in this book is of great value and has added value to what I teach. Not only does it explain in detail how to tackle engagement it also breaks it down into weekly tasks. If you have the right 'attitude' to succeed and follow this step by step, in weeks you will be seeing your engagement levels rise and keep rising.
