Who's the Daddy? 8 Aug 2005
If Half-Life is the father of all first-person shooters, then this must be the great-great-grandfather of them all. Yes it doesn't look that good now alongside modern shoot em ups, but neither does Solitaire and look how many people play that everyday. The storyline is simple; open doors, solve simple puzzels, shoot baddies and SURVIVE!

id games have givin us many hours of brainless, simple, yet fun shooting and we have this to thank for all of it. If you have never played it, buy it for when you don't want to think about the consequences of shooting something!

Fun:
The first computer game I,and many other people my age, ever played. The shareware game many people played when they should have been working in the office. The objective is to do one thing and one thing only, kill nazis. What follows is a retro arcade slugfest which was a massive influence on computer games and specifically the FPS genre. Get health from dogfood, collect ammo and powerups and shoot your way out of Castle Wolfenstien and all the way to Hitler himself! This game doesn't take itself seriously so it is best you don't either. In today's gaming world it is beyond dated but it is still an influential classic that you could load up for a bit of quick Nazi slaying anytime on your laptop.

Excellent service from this seller. Game arrived within a couple of days.

I love this game and used to play it back in the nineties but didn't think I could get it again.

It is set in some sort of German castle and you have to shoot your way out to freedom. There are four levels of difficulty and the harder level you play the more soldiers you come into contact with. Some have hand guns, some machine guns and there are dogs as well. Some of the walls open up to reveal secret treasure, health and machine guns, gattling guns and ammunition. (which I recommend you arm yourself with) Although it's not always easy to find the secret walls but it's great fun trying. When you arrive at floor nine you meet the guy who is going to stop your bid for freedom. He's not easy to kill as he has a gattling gun under each arm. I recommend that you stock up as much ammo as you can and perhaps it's cheating but I save the game at strategic points otherwise if you do get killed you end up with just a hand gun and if you run out of ammo you end up with a knife. Although it is possible to kill your adversary with the knife I wouldn't recommend it.

When you have completed the first game you then move on to the second game and so on.

Terrible time waster but a great game.
