Bad Boys II is a full-on all-action first/third person shooter with you playing both characters depending on where you are in the plot. Mike is the hard man who you will control whenever something is going down that needs a gun to do the talking. Marcus will jump into play when things need to be a bit subtler and stealth is required to move the investigation forward.

bad boys in a not so bad game,

The game has plenty to offer with 15 missions to play, and the possibility of playing with both characters in two views, first and third person. I found the game became very addictive as I progressed through the storey, finding myself at times when I could not put the controller down and turn off the console. Having previously seen bad boys 2 at the cinema I found that the game was very similar in detail, but with some noticeable changes, very enjoyable none the less. There are some good, unique parts to the game such as the bad boy rating, which is fun, and can be used to as a competition between you and your mates, if you were to compare who could clock up the highest bad boy rating. The problems with bad boys 2 is that it is very short and wasn’t very difficult. it does not also support multiplier which is a shame, but overall is a good game and thoroughly deserves four stars.
