2.0 out of 5 stars Emmylou - Could be better 27 May 2012

The video says NTSC system. I contacted the seller and they said it would work in the U.K. it does work, but picture quality is terrible, playing back through a PAL HD LCD system. Bearable on an old analogue 625 line TV. I'll endure this as I'm a big Emmylou fan, but for those who aren't I would skip this purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not the greatest AV quality but..... 18 July 2011
By MR. R
Spyboy footage is so rare that any is welcome. The sound on this disc is OK, but not great. The visuals are OK , but not great.Performance borders on genius, Emmylou has a few rough vocal spots , but Buddy and Brady Blade are spectacular. There are no better musicians in any genre of popular music.Somewhat different setlist from the Live Exit INN disc( which is rare and very pricey), but as good as said disc.4 stars for dvd quality, 10 for performance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Far away from her country roots! 13 July 2013

Exellent! Emmy sings the blues together with drummer and bassplayer. Those three would be enough. The concert in Stockholm the same year was even better.

3.0 out of 5 stars EMMY AND HER BOYS! 6 July 2012
Verified Purchase
I saw Emmylou and Spyboy play an outdoor event in the grounds of Hopeton House near the Forth Bridges in 2000. It was a great day. We managed to get right up close to the stage when Emmy was on, and she was wonderful. As I remember she sung a couple of duos with Steve Earle, who was also on the bill. Phil Kaufman made a brief appearance as well. This DVD will do as a reminder of that great day. As other reviewers have said, sound and picture quality are not brilliant, but passable. I always though Emmylou needed Spyboy to get the 'Wrecking Ball' sound on stage, so it's a pity there's only one song from that album. Lots of 'Red Dirt Girl' stuff though, and quite rightly.
