do not get these.mayb my cupboards were to thick but altho they stuck well and did up,i could not get my finger in to undo it and the door wouldnt close properly.no matter how many times i tried these didnt work on my doors.ive got many diff safety latches/catches and these r the only ones which were aprob.dont waste your time on these

Unlike some other reviewers, we found these to be very sturdy.
I think two things are very important when installing them:
1)The surface must be clean from any greasy residue. We wiped down the area with some water+fairy liquid mix and then allowed it to dry fully. An alcohol wipe would probably be even better. Dont touch the area with your fingers after cleaning as this will contaminate the surface with oil from your skin.
2)The pad should be allowed to set for a long as possible. We left ours for almost 24 hours.
I'm not sure if the 'open position' lock function is much use. If anything it makes it trickier to close the door. Apart from that we are very satisfied with them.

Emmay cupboard lock

Works but I'd prefer a screw in one
They do the job, but only cos we're in rented accomodation so don't want to use screw in fittings.

Keep that baby out!
These safety clips are pretty good, a little fiddly to fit but once in place they seem to be holding on in there. Read more

Excellent - if you allow the adhesive to cure
I found the exact opposite to the last review. If you leave the adhesive to cure then the catch worked really well. No problems recommending this or anything else from Emmay Care
