"Knowing God" is part of the highly successful "Emmaus: the Way of Faith" course. Four short courses, going into greater depth on the basics of Christian doctrine: "How can I share my faith?", "How does knowing God affect all my life?", "What significance has the story of Jesus Christ?", and "What part should the Holy Spirit play in my life?" This includes : Living the Gospel (4 sessions); Knowing the Father (4 sessions); Knowing Jesus (4 sessions); and Come, Holy Spirit (4 sessions). "Knowing God" is an ideal follow-up course to ANY nurture course (Emmaus, Alpha, Christianity Explored).
About the Author
The authors of Emmaus are Stephen Cottrell, Steven Croft, John Finney, Felicity Lawson and Robert Warren, all of whom are well known in the fields of adult initiation and discipleship. Although written by five Anglicans, Emmaus is used across the denominations.
