It came in great condition but was made of plastic rather than china which i thought it was going to be. However it's been a great success and i think it was better it was made out of plastic for it get's dropped alot.
Emma Bridgwater stuff is beautiful, but quite expensive for the china versions. So if you're looking for a cheaper present to buy for a christening or birthday then this set is perfect. The only misgiving I have with it is the reproduction quality of the mice onto the melamine is not as crisp as it is on the actually china. But then I suppose that is reflected in the price between the two.
