Excellent mallet for fine wood carving work. Good weight and feel with a solid Beech head and a well shaped handle.

I was very pleased with the mallet. It feels well balanced , well weighted and has withstood some sturdy chiselling. It came in perfect condition being well smoothed and and just as shown in the photgraph. It was very good value for money compared to many others I have seen advertised.

Pleased with the weight and feel of the mallet - it feels tight and well put together. At this price it's not surprising that it needed a bit of finishing and I spent half an hour with some fine sand paper to make the handle feel less coarse and to take some dark rub marks off the head. The bottom of the handle in particular had a few nicks out of it and needed fettling to sit well in the hand. It was worth the effort, however, and I now have a nicely balanced and very effective mallet which is very good value for the price.

This is a great mallet for the price. It has a nice finish, feels solid & is wieghted well plus it arrived very quickly. what more could you ask for!
